Tribunal dismisses appeals by Mangere United Football Club against decisions of New Zealand Football Appeals Committee
The Sports Tribunal has dismissed two appeals by Mangere United Football Club against two decisions of the New Zealand Football Appeals Committee which affirmed the forfeiture by Mangere United of a Chatham Cup tie match and fine and the forfeiture of seven matches and fines in the Northern Regional... Football League Division One competition. The matches were ordered to be forfeited because the Club, through an innocent administrative error, had fielded an ineligible player in both competitions.

Powerlifter suspended for 12 months for anti-doping violation
The Sports Tribunal has suspended powerlifter, Mendrado Catoto, for a period of 12 months for the presence of a prohibited substance, methylhexaneamine, in a sample taken from him at the New Zealand Powerlifting Championships on 6 August 2016

The Sports Tribunal has dismissed an appeal by Scott Columb against a decision of Motorcycling New Zealand not to select him for the New Zealand team to compete at the 2016 Motocross of Nations in Italy on 24 and 25 September 2016.
