The Sports Tribunal has suspended weightlifter Andrew Ciancio for 8 years for anti-doping violations. The violations were for tampering with sample collection or evading sample collection by providing false and misleading information as to his whereabouts availability for drug testing and changing his... whereabouts availability for drug testing with the intention of evading sample collection.

The Sports Tribunal has upheld an appeal by Andrew Roy against a decision of Canoe Racing New Zealand (CRNZ) to not select him for the Under 23 K1 200 event at the World Championships. The Tribunal has ordered that Mr Roy be selected.
