President of Marlborough Motor Cycle Club partly successful in appeal against 3 year suspension for bringing his sport into disrepute

The Sports Tribunal has partially upheld an appeal by the President of the Marlborough Motor Cycle Club, Noel Curr, against a three year suspension imposed by Motorcycling NZ for bringing his sport into disrepute. Decision 11 April 2008.

Appointment of three new Sports Tribunal Members announced. Minister for Sport and Recreation Clayton Cosgrove hasannounced three new appointments to the Sports Tribunal of New Zealand. The appointments are Alan Galbraith QC as Deputy Chairperson along with Anna Richards MNZM and Dr Lynne Coleman... as members of the Sports Tribunal.
