Nicholas Davidson KC is an arbitrator, mediator and strategic advisor with Chambers in Auckland and Christchurch. He was counsel for the Serious Fraud Office at the Wine Box Royal Commission of Inquiry, and for the families at the Pike River Royal Commission. His legal practice extended across many areas of the law.
He was appointed Deputy Chair of the (then) New Zealand Sports Disputes Tribunal for the term of 2003 – 2011. He was for many years a National Commissioner for New Zealand Cricket, a member of the disciplinary structures within SANZAR and the International Rugby Board; and the FIFA Investigatory Panel.
He was appointed a High Court Judge and retired in December 2018.
