Phil Tataurangi, of Tauranga is a former elite professional golfer who competed internationally for two decades (1993–2013) and continues to contribute to high‑performance sport as a commentator and analyst for the PGA Tour and Sky TV. He brings governance and community leadership experience, including as a trustee of the Halberg Foundation and founding director of Kiwi Kids Life Skills Trust. Mr Tataurangi also runs an independent golf course design and advisory business, working closely with golf club boards and local authorities. He brings a strong athlete perspective, and a sound understanding of current integrity challenges in sport.
