An appeal against a decision of a Judiciary Committee of Motorcycling NZ (MNZ) has been upheld by the Tribunal. The Tribunal noted that the officials had acted in good faith throughout, however MNZ had erred in not providing the appellant with sufficient opportunity to produce additional evidence at the hearing (or an adjourned hearing) which meant that natural justice had been denied. The appeal was upheld and referred back to MNZ for rehearing before a freshly constituted Judiciary Committee panel.
