The Sports Tribunal has dismissed an urgent appeal by an athlete concerning his non-selection for the New Zealand Men’s Foam team for the 2026 World Dodgeball Federation World Championship.
The matter was referred to the Tribunal by agreement of the parties. The appeal raised issues concerning the application of the selection criteria and process, whether there had been a reasonable opportunity to satisfy the criteria, natural justice, the evidential basis for the selection decision, and alleged actual bias.
Following an urgent hearing on 4 November 2026, the Tribunal dismissed the appeal.
