An appeal by Playaz against a transfer decision of Volleyball NZ has been upheld by the Tribunal on the basis that an opposition player’s transfer between clubs was not confirmed prior to a National Club Championship match against Playaz and thus the opposition player was ineligible to play. Accordingly, the appeal was allowed with the game (or the points from the game) being forfeited to Playaz.
