Rugby League Player suspended for 1 month for anti-doping rule violation
The Sports Tribunal suspended an athlete for returning a positive test for cannabis. The revised SADR 2021 recognises “substances of abuse” and provides for a reduced sanction if an athlete completes an approved treatment programme. The athlete must complete the approved programme underway, or three months suspension will apply.
