Appeal against decision of NSO – volleyball – appeal against decision of Volleyball New Zealand (VNZ) Board declining to further consider complaint concerning eligibility of Harbour Raiders Volleyball Club to participate in 2026 Northern Zone Competition – challenge based on alleged denial of natural justice, procedural bias, preferential treatment and non-compliance with competition fee requirements – Playaz sought ruling that Raiders was ineligible due to late payment of entry fees – Tribunal held appeal was in substance an attempt to challenge earlier CEO decision, in respect of which no right of appeal existed – Board entitled to rely on constitutional provision permitting it not to proceed where matter had already been investigated and dealt with – no denial of natural justice established – VNZ CEO and the Board had acted within their powers – approved payment arrangement existed between VNZ and Raiders – appeal dismissed.
